Okay, so most of you know of the BP incident (the oil spill), if you don’t, where have you been?
Anyway, everyone is blaming it on BP, and yes, I understand why…they are the closest people linked to the incident (hence the logo popping out on the side of the big boat). But can we really blame it on them? We could blame it on driver of the boat, which will definitely be fired, or wave that made the boat tip (I’m not even sure it was a wave).
But let’s be real right now, this could happen to any oil company, it just happened on BP…I agree that they SHOULD be contributing a lot more than they are to the cleanup and such, but it’s seriously not all their fault, so don’t blame it all on them.
For example, if someone was walking in a mall and dropped a laptop from the top floor on accident, killing a child. Would you blame it on the man for dropping it, the child for being there, or the laptop brand for producing. Something to ponder.
Iron baby, almost better than Iron Man! :)
